Over at Frothers Unite Forums, Dagenhameast and Artemis Black are organising a series of in forum charity auctions. They are for Race For Life which is a UK based cancer charity.
Most people have had a relative either suffer with cancer or pass away from it, I lost my Grandad; George Bryan in 1992 to a very viscious stomach cancer.
At the moment I cannot afford to bid, but I have donated my Olley’s Armies Shroud(you can see it in my gallery) to the pile of stuff in the auctions. So far the bidding and donations have been very generous and if you feel like helping out please follow these links;

2 updates in 1 day? What have I done?
Well I sorted out the PDF for the restart of the Wal’s Hole Tribune and also ironed out some creases in the file which were causing extra blank pages to appear. If you want to have a look at the PDF click the image below…

Wal's Hole Tribune - The newspaper of distinction...

As promised here are the first pictures of the Necromunda terrain and gang i’ve been working on.

Would you drink from that fosset?

Tough guys wear make-up!
I’ve done a deliberate verdigris staining on the chemical plant to represent the toxic waste, the water tank underneath is a very bad joke

Been busy recently with a few things one of them has been a Chemical plant made from the Conflix Chemical Plant kit. Its a good varied kit with a load of different uses, i’ve used it to make boilers for Stompas and other such gubbinz. This time i’ve used it as it was meant to be as i’m building up some serious plastic scenery for Necromunda, I still have the old card bulkhead kits but as they are now 14 years old they are becoming a little dog-eared and brittle. For those of you who have not seen the kits heres a picture of the box art;

Conflix Chemical Plant kit
They are a bit of a pain in the arse to build but when you get into it they work out well and look great painted. Which brings me onto my chemical works i’ve built with it, i’ll be taking the pictures with a few Necromunda figures as “barrys” to show size over the next few days. So check back mid-week and it should be up.
I’ve also done a new reintroduction issue of the “Wal’s Hole Tribune” for when and if the campaign kicks back off, that will be uploaded by friday.

Dave Arneson 1947-2009
Not many people have had any impact on the way myself and my friends game, only a choice few have. One being the late Gary Gygax and another being his co-creator of D&D Dave Arneson.
Sadly Dave passed away on Tuesday 7th April 2009. Dave was one of the driving forces of Dungeons and Dragons and was responsible for it coming out of what was a mass battle game called Chainmail. Over the years he created worlds such as Blackmoor and helped develop numerous games for various pubishers.
Dave had to fight to get the recognition of his contribution to D&D, but was eventually reconciled with TSR in the mid-80’s.
In 2002 Dave fell seriously ill with a stroke and was shortly after diagnosed with cancer. He lost his battle with cancer on tuesday.
Another of gaming’s titans leaves us with a legacy that future generations can share and enjoy, we owe you so much. Thank you.

Not sure if many of you will be that bothered, but i’ve added a new page which contains my reflections on an old Necromunda campaign from 2005. I’ve put up the different downloadable newsletters on the page too so you can get some impression of what went on those many moons ago.

He’s small and green, got a bad temper and a mate who is a little squiggly thingie. Theres only one grumpy gobbo who fits the bill and I present with much adoration of his Gobbyness…

I’ll start with the fact that yesterday we got script kiddied again, some shit added malicious code to 3 files in the site so if your computer is acting up since the 16th of March do a virus scan. I have fixed the problem and notified the host of which files have been attacked so they can do a traceroute on the IP of the people who did this.
Secondly i’ve done a little painting on a second Gobbledigook miniature, unlike the one in my gallery this one hasn’t got a Nibblit with him so I had to do some sculpting. You’ll have to excuse the awful picture at the moment I will replace it with a better one real soon.

He stands just under 1cm tall and is not an owl as some have suggested.
This could be a start for me sculpting more and i’ll post them when I do some…if I do, lol!!!!
